The 5 best vintage shops in Paris
Paris is known as the city of love, but it's also a true paradise for vintage lovers. Amidst the charming streets and atmospheric neighborhoods, you'll find countless vintage shops filled with unique clothing, accessories, and hidden gems. But where do you even start? In this blog, I'll share my favorites, which I've discovered in Paris over the past five years.
Here are the five best vintage shops in Paris. The ideal spots to discover unique vintage gems.
Free'p'Star
With multiple branches spread across the city, Free'p'Star is a paradise for treasure hunters. This shop is known for its eclectic selection, ranging from retro to bohemian. My personal favorite is the branch at the corner of Rue Saint-Bon and Rue de la Verrerie; be sure not to miss the basement here.
And if you don't find what you're looking for there, there are no less than four other branches on Rue de la Verrerie, as well as Vintage by Ramin and three kilo shops. Vintage lovers can truly indulge themselves on this street.

13 Rue Saint-Bon, Rue de la Verrerie, 75004
Metro - Hôtel de Ville
Chinemachine
In the heart of Montmartre, you'll find this amazing vintage shop. They operate on a buy-sell-trade principle, resulting in a fast-changing assortment. From designer pieces and timeless basics to iconic vintage gems from every era. Whatever your style, Chinemachine has it all.

100 Rue des Martyrs, 75018
Metro - Abesses
P.S. If you're up for a walk through one of Paris's nicest streets, get off at metro stop Notre-Dame-de-Lorette and follow Rue des Martyrs uphill; you'll find Chinemachine at the very end of the street. Afterwards, make a stop at Maison Millie for a coffee or lunch before continuing the uphill walk towards the Sacré Coeur.
BIS Boutique Solidaire
A second-hand shop whose proceeds go to charity. At BIS Boutique Solidaire, you'll find a good mix of vintage and modern second-hand clothing. There are no less than five branches throughout the city, and they always have a good selection and excellent prices!

7 Boulevard du Temple, 75003
Metro - Filles du Calvaire
Vintage Désir
In the coziest street of Le Marais, housed in an old barbershop, you'll find Vintage Désir. This small shop is quite packed, but believe me, it's really worth sifting through the racks. With a little searching, you can find beautiful items here; from elegant dresses and cool leather jackets to top-quality wool blazers. And if all that treasure hunting has made you hungry, a little further down the street you can find the best falafel in Paris at L'As du Fallafel.

32 Rue des Rosiers, 75004
Metro - Saint-Paul
Tucked Friperie
Slightly outside the center of Paris but certainly worth the detour is Tucked Friperie. A true vintage boutique with a carefully curated collection of vintage gems. Prices are a bit higher than, for example, Vintage Désir or Free'p'Star, but all items are of good quality, and you can also find designer items at a relatively low price.
Combine it, for example, with a visit to Bois de Vincennes; then you'll also pass Untucked, from the same owner.

80 Rue Claude Decean, 75012
Metro - Daumesnil
